The caller ID display is cool. This thing is awckward and very uncomfortable. But that's it.
heavy, (and the picture when i bought it showed a much sleeker design). and the cool led screen.
i have to actually USE it all the other time. it's stuck in your friggen ear already, i have yet to find someone that can read the screen and use the thing at the same time.
why. whatever, it could take three days to sync up (i have to do THAT once).
seriously, this thing is barely usable. battery life is unacceptable; barley a day IF you don't actually use it.
although it does make it easier than most to sync up.
The Jabra BT800 is a good Bluetooth headphone that could be used with a few systems (I use it with my 2 cell phones (Palm 650 & Motorola L6) and 2 computers = 4 systems). It is very easy to move from one system to another. The sound quality is good for both sides. The system is a bit heavy and with glasses it is a bit uncomfortable
Size : Bigger than you think (makes you look nerdy)Hope that was useful.CerberuS Vibrating : Excellent if your cellphone does not have a built in one4. Caller ID : Overrated it only shows the Number NOT the contact name3. Battery Life : Not that good, you have to charge it every day or else6. I have had this one for about a year now, and here is my review Plain and simple :1. Sound quality : Very good (for both parties)2. Material : Cheap, the holder snapped & I had to fix it so it lost some freedom of movement.5.
I even tried downloading the update software in hopes it would help, it did not.Another problem is that inbound calls always had the international country code added to it, so if I used the caller ID function to call a number, it wouldn't work as the cell phone didn't know whey that + was in front of the number. Is was going to exchange my original model with another to see if my unit was faulty. At least people can here me know. That was the final straw.I sent the item back and got the Jabra KX-10. However, the other party could not hear me if there was ANY background noise. I cannot even feel it is on.
It surprised me that it came with it's own belt holster until I noticed it just wasn't something you could comfortably leave on.The speaker on this unit was great as it was always loud enough. The could hear that I was saying words, but my voice was modified so much I was told I sounded like a robot to multiple people. When I took it out of the holster to put in in the box for shipping, the ear piece broke. There is no caller ID (I hardly miss that) and the speaker is not quite as loud. Product is very bulky and heavy.
This unit is equipped with DSP technology that actually cancels out the background noise (and does so quite well), but it also made my voice not understandable to the people I was talking to. Completely opposite.
